Vivo Z1 Pro Launched in India: Punch hole Camera and Snapdragon 712
Vivo is not that famous and renowned when it comes to smartphones as usually their phones were overpriced and underpowered till now.
Yes till now, because that doesn’t seem to be the case this time. Vivo is back with their next Mid-range smartphone Vivo Z1 Pro which does offer specifications that blew our mind at a price we don’t expect even from renowned brands.
So let’s have a look at the all-new Vivo Z1 Pro!
Vivo Z1 Pro comes with Snapdragon 712 with 4GB of Ram and 64GB of Internal storage for the base variant while the top variant comes with 6GB of Ram and 128GB of Internal Storage.
Adrena 616 is said to be the GPU here.
The device will be running on Android 9.0 pie with FunTouchOS 9 on top.
And all of this is powered by large 5000mAh Battery which does support fast charging at 18W.
On the front, there is a 6.53-inches FHD+ FullView Display with a Punch-Hole Camera on top left.
Whereas on the back, there is a Vertical Triple Camera Setup and a Fingerprint sensor.
The back is completely made up of plastic but does look unique and premium.
Vivo has also not missed on Headphone jack too.
Although, it comes with Micro-USB port instead of Type-C USB port which could have been a Cherry on top.
Vivo Z1 Pro comes with Triple Camera Setup at the back consisting of a 16-Megapixel Sony IMX 499 Primary Shooter with an Aperture of f/1.79, 8-Megapixel Ultrawide shooter with aperture f/2.2 and a 2-Megapixel Depth Sensor with aperture f/2.4 for Portrait shots.
The device can shoot 4k@30fps videos without any issues and even slo-mo 240fps@720p.
Apart from that, there is a 32-Megapixel front shooter for selfies with an aperture of f/2.0 and can shoot videos up to 1080@30fps.
This device does live up to its hype, as both camera setups(front and rear) perform exceptionally well.
In fact, we were surprised to see its front camera performance.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 712 is a 64-Bit Octa-Core Processor clocked at 2.3Ghz with Eight Kryo 360 Cores and Built on 10nm FinFet Process technology.
Snapdragon 710 comes with an AIE(Artificial Intelligence Engine) built-in to improve user experience and overall performance of the phone.
Qualcomm Hexagon 685 is used as DSP(Digital Signal Processor).
At the starting price of ₹14,999 for the base variant, Vivo Z1 Pro directly competes with Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro and RealMe 3 Pro which have already been approved as best smartphone under their price category.
Frankly speaking, Vivo Z1 Pro is way better than RealMe 3 Pro and Redmi note 7 Pro, but there are some sacrifices too that you might have to make.
Like the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with Type-C charging port which is more of like future proof thing.
Moreover, Redmi Note 7 Pro has Fairly good Community development, which means that you can anytime flash a Custom ROM and replace MIUI with Stock Android and still have a stable phone.
RealMe 3 Pro offers fast charging which can charge the phone completely in just 80 Minutes. But that’s the only advantage.
