redmi k30 leaked image

Overview

Unlike the Redmi K20, Xiaomi has decided to opt for Punch-Hole Camera instead of having a Pop-up selfie camera for Redmi K30 2020.

This Reduces the aspect ratio you will end up having a Bulky Phone exactly like 2016 Android Tablets.

Surely, there aren’t any bezels but still, it does feel big and bulky.

On the back, We have a Vertical Quad Camera Setup consisting of Sony IMX 616 as its primary shooter.

The entire back is completely made up of glass and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Realme X2 Pro ! True Flagship Killer or Missed Opportunity?

0
realme x2 pro

Before Xiaomi could capture the Flagship Killer Market again with Poco F2, Realme is already here with their all-new Realme X2 Pro which checks most of the boxes than any other Flagship Killer till date.

But Still, we feel that the Realme missed the opportunity and has ruined a perfect phone! Before we talk further about that, Let’s have a look at the specifications first.

Specifications

The all-new Realme X2 Pro comes with Snapdragon 855 Plus coupled with 8GB of Ram and 128GB of Internal Storage for the base variant whereas the top-end variant goes all the way up to 12GB of Ram and 256GB of Internal Storage.

The Device will be running on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with ColorOS 6.1 on top.

Adreno 640 is the GPU here just like every other smartphone featuring Snapdragon 855 Plus.

And all of this is powered by a 4000-mAh Battery which is more of an industry-standard these days.

What’s not so Industry standard is the charging technology Realme X2 Pro comes with.

It comes with the support for SuperVOOC Flash Charge. What’s that? The device is capable to charge itself completely from 0% to 100% in just 35-Minutes.

Although it is necessary to use the provided 50W Charger.

Which is just insane. Moreover, even if you don’t have the 50W charger with yourself, most fast chargers available out there in the market are supported too but the charging time will differ depending on the specifications of charger you are using.

Snapdragon 855 Plus

Qualcomm’s latest flagship offering Snapdragon 855 Plus is a 64-Bit Octa-Core Processor with Eight Kryo-485 Cores clocked at 2.96Ghz and built on 7nm Process technology.

This Chipset does support 5G Technology which is yet to be launched in India.

GPU used here is Adreno 640 and does comes with AIE (Artificial Intelligence Engine) Technology.

Qualcomm’s Hexagon 690 Processor is used as DSP (Digital Signal Processor).

realme x2 pro review

Physical Appearance

On the front, there is a 6.5-inches FHD+ fluid 90Hz Super AMOLED Display certified with HDR10+ and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Something to note is that the display can go as bright as 1000nits which is another appreciating factor.

A Dew Drop Notch holding a 16-Megapixel Sensor allows for a screen to body ratio of 84% and still be considered as bezel-less.

Whereas on the back, there is a Quad-Camera setup and an awkwardly placed RealMe logo.

Quad Camera Setup

There is a Quad Camera Setup at the back offering 4-Different Camera Sensors as the name suggests, which includes-

  • Regular 64-Megapixel Sensor with an aperture of f/1.8
  • 13-Megapixel Telephoto Lens with f/2.5 aperture for 2x Optical Zoom
  • 8-Megapixel Ultra-Wide-Angle Lens with f/2.2 Aperture
  • 2-Megapixel Depth Sensor

Apart from there, there is a flash to support in low-lighting.

Keep in mind that none of the cameras supports OIS which cannot be expected considering the price to specifications ratio.

Pricing

You can grab the Realme X2 Pro for 29,990 INR available exclusively on Flipkart and Realme’s Official Website but you might not be able to get it.

Unfortunately, the Realme X2 Pro will be available only for a few customers on invite basis just like OnePlus did with OnePlus One back in 2014.

realme x2 pro

Market Competition

Realme X2 Pro directly competes with OnePlus 7 and even with Asus ROG 2 to some extent.

Which one should you get?

If Gaming is your priority or looking to get the best and fastest processor available in the market, go with either Realme X2 Pro or Asus ROG 2.

Users having Camera as their highest priority can any day go with the Realme X2 Pro without any doubt.

Now for some, User Interface could be a priority as well and in that case, we would highly recommend you to go with the Asus ROG 2 as it offers a near-Stock Android Experience without compromising on performance, battery or display.

ColorOS on Realme X2 Pro is a deal-breaker for me and is just too bad to resist. Though it depends on personal preference.

We have a dedicated Article to explain how bad ColorOS is. Which is why we feel that Realme has ruined a perfect phone.

For some exceptions out there looking to get faster-charging speeds, Realme X2 Pro is a no brainer.

Still Confused? Let us know your budget and priorities in the comment section below and let us choose the best option for you 🙂

Call of Duty Mobile Available to Download for Android and iOS!

0
call of duty mobile game

After a long time to wait, Call of Duty Mobile is finally available to download on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Now that the stable version can be downloaded on both Android and iOS Phones, does Call of Duty Mobile worth the hype it is getting?

Offering Multiplayer Modes like Deathmatch and Battle royale makes it to compete directly against the PUBG Mobile which was launched in early 2018 and is the most famous battle royale game especially among teenagers as of now.

Call of Duty Mobile is heavily inspired by Call of Duty franchise available for PC and gaming consoles. Though, the Mobile version doesn’t pack any storyline to follow and is just a multiplayer game like PUBGM.

Call of Duty Mobile offers an upgraded Graphics from any other Multiplayer game available for smartphone these days.

Also Read: How PUBG has Revolutionized Indian Smartphone Market?

And overall provides a completely unique experience.

Not only that, developers had also made sure to Optimise this game enough unlike the PUBG Mobile which is known for tonnes of Bugs and poor optimization.

Overall, the game feels unique and is definitely better than PUBG Mobile.

Call of duty mobile latest version

How to Download Call of duty mobile game?

Call of duty mobile latest version can be very easily downloaded from Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

Or you can also download Call of Duty Mobile apk from here.

Unfortunately, the game support Flagship phones and certain mid-range phones only as of now. Although the developers claims to extend the compatibility and support for other entry-level smartphones too.

You can anytime watch this video in case if you are having issues installing Call of Duty Mobile on your phone.

Call of Duty Mobile Game Emulator

Call of Duty developers have confirmed that an emulator will be out for Windows-based laptops and computers too which will enable users to play the exact Call of Duty Mobile Game on PC.

Playing the exact game on PC will be a different level experience. Thanks to the ability to have a Wider Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse.

In Order to play Call of Duty Mobile on your laptop or computer, you will have to install Gameloop Emulator and add call of duty to it.

There are various tutorials available online on YouTube to do so.

Now I don’t know the magic behind this, but Call of Duty Mobile on Emulator is even playable on laptops having Intel UHD 620 (Kaby Lake) which is surprising as Intel UHD 620 is one of the least powerful integrated GPUs out there.

And still, the game was playable on it giving an average of 40fps on the lowest settings possible with depth-of-field disabled.

One thing to note is that, don’t play Battle Royale as we felt it to be unoptimized and the experience wasn’t good at all even on Flagship phones.

So just stick to the Multiplayer deathmatch and you will have a great time enjoying it.

Best Custom ROM for POCO f1!! PUBG at HDR+EXTREME 60+fps

4
poco f1 custom rom

Are you looking for the Best Custom ROM for Poco f1?
Well, you must agree to us that most of the Custom ROMs and even the stock MIUI ROM doesn’t offer any good performance or battery life. Leaving the powerful Snapdragon 845 on our Poco F1 unutilized.

After searching and trying almost every ROM available for Poco f1, we have listed the best Custom ROM for Poco f1 and not just one but three best ROMs.

Do note that all the ROMs mentioned below are tried and tested by myself for a good amount of time.

And we aren’t paid by anyone for writing this article.

Read the complete article to know the pros and cons of each and every ROM we have mentioned.

best custom rom for poco f1

Revolution OS based on MIUI

There are a lot of people who love MIUI but the fact that MIUI for Poco doesn’t offer any good performance or even battery life, makes it difficult to use.

There are Stutters even in daily usage and UI.

Well, we have got you covered.

Now, this is the best ROM you can get for Poco F1 considering all the aspects.

Revolutions OS for Poco F1 is completely stable apart from just minor bugs like there is a 1-second delay while switching between usual and Dark Mode.

When it comes to Gaming performance, we could easily play PUBG Mobile at HDR with Extreme frame rates that too stable at 58fps-60fps using a Gfx Tool which is really good for a Snapdragon 845 phone.

You will be surprised to know that even after playing PUBG mobile for continuous of 4 hours on these settings, the maximum temperature was just 43-degree Celsius.

Battery life is amazing too.

You can play PUBG Mobile on the above-mentioned settings for a continuous of 4 Hours and still have some juice left.

When it comes to non-gaming usage, we got a screen on time between 7-9 hours and even 10 hours.

No extra kernel is required to increase performance or improve battery life.

You get to see Dark Mode, More Notch Settings and fixes.

So basically an upgraded version of MIUI which outperforms anything in the market as of now.

Fast Charging is supported too and we charged our POCO F1 from 23% to 100% in just 1 Hour and 40 Minutes.

Definitely, this is the best custom ROM for Poco F1.

In short, this is literally the best ROM for those who are looking for a balanced ROM between performance and battery life.

  2. Download DFE (Disable Force Encryption)

best custom rom for gaming poco f1

OxygenOS

Hates MIUI? OxygenOS has got you covered.

Before flashing this thing, remember that this is a pre-rooted ROM.

Which means that if you don’t root your phones after flashing a ROM, this might not be the option for you.

But if you are okay with it, this is literally the best non-MIUI ROM for our beloved Poco f1.

Yes, there are some booting issues, but you can anytime ask us your queries in the comment section below.

Once it boots though, performance on this ROM outperforms everything.

It is the fastest ROM for Poco f1 and even outperforms K20 Pro running on stock MIUI.

So why didn’t we ranked it as 1st?

Well, there are heating issues.

The device may get heated up to 56-degree celsius which is insane for any normal user.

And Heating for a prolonged period of time may damage your battery as well as internals components.

There are no heating issues in daily usage and using apps like facebook or even casual gaming, but playing gaming Like PUBG and Call of Duty Mobile does makes it heat a lot.

If you are ok with it, forget Revolution OS and install Oxygen OS by amog as the app load times are even faster than Revolution OS and even touch issues are non-existent.

And talking about battery life, it isn’t that good and offers a battery life between 6-7 hours on casual usage.

You can play PUBG Mobile for a continuous of 3 hours and 15 Minutes and still have some juice left. Not the best battery life though.

This is definitely the best ROM for users looking for Ultimate performance.

So yes, this is the best custom ROM for gaming Poco F1.

best stable custom rom for poco f1

LineageOS

A lot of you might not agree with Lineageos being on our list. But hey, let us explain.

ROMS like HavocOS and CrDroid for Poco F1 are good but not the best and here we are mentioning only the best ROMs for 3 different types of users.

LineageOS Official for Poco f1 is the most stable Custom ROM and even more stable than Pixel Experience.

Not only it is stable but also offers better performance and faster app opening speeds than the Pixel Experience.

Moreover, the fact that lineageOS is very close to stock android with minimal features, makes it a tough competitor for ROMs offering stock Android.

You can play PUBG Mobile too but don’t expect OxygenOS like performance.

Still, the ROM completely utilizes Snapdragon 845 for a user who is not into gaming.

Battery life is good too with 7-9hours of screen on time.

Do note that this ROM doesn’t come with sort of Notch Customisations.

This means that third-party apps will not be able to utilize the notch side area.

But yes, you can disable the notch part and use it like a usual 18:9 phone.

Surely, this is the best stable custom ROM for Poco F1

How to Flash LineageOS

  1. Download Latest Vendor and Firmware Zip File
  2. Download latest LineageOS for Poco F1
  3. Download Nano ARM64 Gapps according to ROM Android Version
  4. Download DFE (Disable Force Encryption)

Redmi 8A Launched in India with Pixel 3 Camera: Realme C2 Killer?

0
redmi 8a camera

After the failure of Redmi 7A, Xiaomi didn’t delayed the Redmi 8A which seems to be an immense Upgrade over it’s last generations.

Not only the Redmi 8A is better than its predecessors, it is even better than other smartphones which costs more than it!

But there are some myths going all around, so not only we are going to review Redmi 8A in this article but will also be busting those myths.

Specifications

The all-new Redmi 8A comes with Snapdragon 439 clocked at 2GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM with 16GB of Internal Storage. Whereas the top-end variant goes all the way up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of Internal Storage.

The Device will be running on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 out of the box.

Adreno 505 is said to be the GPU here.

And all of this is powered by a large 5000mAh battery which does support fast charging at 18W.

Unfortunately, Xiaomi isn’t providing the fast charger in the box and you will only get a 10W Charger.

Which means that in order to fast charge your phone, you will have to purchase a separate 18W charger costing INR 499.

You can buy the 18W charger online from their official website.

redmi 8a battery

Overview

On the front, there is a 6.2-inches HD+ IPS LCD Display with a dew-drop notch on top.

And Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Whereas on the back, there is a Single-Camera, Flash and Redmi branding.

Unfortunately there is no fingerprint sensor but Xiaomi has provided an option for Face Unlock which is recently fast and accurate.

And the Back is completely made up of plastic with a texture offering better grip.

Snapdragon 439

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 439 SoC is an Octa-Core CPU with of course Eight Arm Cortex A53 Cores clocked at 2.0Ghz and built on 12nm FinFet Process Technology.

Adreno 505 is used as GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) and Hexagon 536 as DSP (Digital Signal Processor)

Snapdragon 439 is definitely better than MediaTek Helio A22 and MediaTek Helio P22 which is the most known processor for entry-level smartphones.

Camera Department

On the back, there is a 12-Megapixel Sony IMX 363 with an aperture of f/1.8 which is the exact same sensor used on Pixel 3a costing $600 and Poco F1 costing $300.

But Keep in mind, that image quality depends on a lot of aspects such as Aperture, Optics, Post-Processing and many more.

Which means that even though Redmi 8A comes with Sony IMX 363, don’t expect flagship-level performance or even close to it.

But yes, the Camera Performance will definitely be far better than its competition with noticeable differences.

For selfies, you get to see an 8-Megapixel Shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

redmi 8a screen

Pricing

Redmi 8A is exclusively available on Flipkart at a price tag of 6,499 for 2GB of RAM and 16GB of Internal Storage. There is another variant costing 6,999 and comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of Internal Storage.

Market Competiton

At a starting price of 6,499 INR, Redmi 8A directly competes with Realme C2 and Lenovo A6 Note.

No matter which aspect we talk about, Redmi 8A is simply better than all of them.

As of now, no phone under even 10k is offering Sony IMX 363 Camera Sensor.

At such a budget price tag, you are even getting USB Type-C and 18W Fast Charging supported which no other phone offers at least today.

Something to note is that even though you are getting Type-C, it is a 1.0 Type-C port which means that slower data transfer speeds are assured. But again, even phones offering Micro USB Port are 1.0 Micro USBs so that shouldn’t matter.

So Should you Buy Redmi 8A?
Well, definitely yes. You simply cannot get any better deal than this unless and until Realme decides to kill it but that would take another 4-5 Months for Realme to do so.

Asus ROG Phone 2 Review: OnePlus 7 Pro Killer at ₹37,999?

0
rog phone 2

2019 seems to be the year of Gaming phones! With so many Gaming phones being launched at an aggressive price competing with each other, they have started to make sense for buying even for casual usage.

Earlier, Gaming phones were completely focused on Gaming and had a really poor camera and other aspects which might be important for a casual user.

Now Asus has completely changed this forever with their all-new Asus ROG Phone 2 which is a complete package making us doubt if even OnePlus is charging their customers more.

So Yes the Asus ROG Phone 2 is good but how good is it?

Specifications

The all-new Asus ROG Phone 2 comes with Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC clocked at 2.96Ghz coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage for the base variant whereas the top-end variant comes with 12GB of RAM and 1TB of Internal Storage.

Something to note is that the Variant with 1TB of Internal Storage isn’t available in India as of now!

Adreno 640 is the GPU here.

The device will be running on Android 9.0 Pie with ROG UI on top.

Users can even switch between the Gaming Look and Stock Android Type Clean Look.

And all of this is powered by a large 6000mAh Battery that does last really long.

asus rog phone 2

Overview

On the front, there is a 6.59-inches FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz Display with HDR10 Support protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

Not only that, there are Dual-Front Firing Speakers too which are among the best speakers on a smartphone.

Whereas on the back, you get to see Dual Camera Setup and ROG Branding which does lit up.

The device is completely made up of Metal and Feels a lot premium with its metal body and unique design which differentiates it from every other smartphone available in the market right now.

GPU used here is Adreno 640 and does comes with AIE(Artificial Intelligence Engine) Technology.

Qualcomm’s Hexagon 690 Processor is used as DSP(Digital Signal Processor).

Camera Department

A Dual Vertical Camera Setup on the back comes with the same 48-Megapixel Sony IMX 586 with f/1.8 aperture and a 13-Megapixel Ultra-wide lens with f/2.4 aperture.

The device can shoot 4k@60fps thanks to its flagship processor.

For selfies, Asus has included a 24-Megapixel Shooter with an aperture of f/2.2 and can shoot up to 1080p@30fps.

Pricing

Asus ROG Phone 2 is available for ₹37,999 for the base variant which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage

There is another variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of Internal Storage but that costs ₹59,999.

And We Honestly don’t think that it is worth spending ₹12,000 just for an extra 4GB of RAM. But at the same time, you are even getting an extra 384GB of Internal Storage.

People can buy Asus ROG 2 exclusively on Flipkart anytime they wish to.

rog phone

OnePlus 7 Pro Killer?

The so-called Flagship Killer is available for ₹48,999 as of now on Amazon.in and comes with a 90Hz AMOLED 2K Display, Snapdragon 855 and an awesome Camera setup which scores an excellent 111 on DxO Mark.

Whereas, Asus ROG Phone 2 comes with a better Snapdragon 855 Plus and almost equivalent camera setup.

Talking about the Display, I would give this to Asus ROG Phone 2.

Why?

The Display on OnePlus 7 Pro is Sharper than ROG Phone 2 but the display on Asus Rog Phone 2 is smoother with 120Hz compared to 90Hz on the Oneplus 7 Pro.

Coupled with a 6000mAh battery, Asus Rog 2 should last way too much longer than any OnePlus phone ever.

Something where OnePlus takes the lead away from Asus Rog Phone 2 is UI.

OxygenOS on OnePlus 7 Pro is far better than any other UI available in the market as of now. But that doesn’t mean the UI on Asus Rog Phone 2 is bad, in fact with the option to choose between stock look and gaming feel makes it even better.

Why Poco isn’t Revealing POCO F2? Company Went Bankrupt?

0
poco f2

So it’s 2019 and we have been seeing companies competing with each other more than ever.

With all these tonnes of new smartphones launching every month, there is one smartphone which revolutionized and changed the entire smartphone industry forever.

Yep, thats the Poco F1!

Flagship Processor and features at a Mid-range Price tag is all that Poco aimed for and did achieve success too.

Another reason behind the success of Poco F1 was its community development, Poco focused on users who love to flash custom ROMs and made sure that POCO f1 is never out of Custom ROMs.

So with all this success, why POCO isn’t launching a true successor of Poco F1?

There are a couple of reasons behind that and we will be discussing the most popular ones.

Market Share

Poco isn’t behind Market share by just launching too many worst phones unlike Realme, they just want to work on one single smartphone and improve it further in order to get their user’s attention and make them trust on Poco.

And frankly, a lot of people are looking for Poco F2  and not switching to any other phone brand.

Pricing

This one seems to be legit, there are rumours that Poco is waiting for the prices of Snapdragon 855 and other parts to cool a bit down so that they can earn a bit more profit or can launch the next successor at a similar price that of Poco f1.

Competiton

There were leaks about Poco F2 and even a complete Specs sheet including a design structure was out too.

But Maybe, Poco is waiting for the launch of OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro so that they can launch Poco F2 at a very aggressive price point which will not only urge Poco Users to switch but will also attract consumers looking to buy OnePlus 7T because of the price difference.

Bankruptcy

Frankly, do not believe and rely on tweets from unreliable sources. A company like Poco with so much success and units sold in the market cannot go bankrupt.

Although Jai Mani, CEO of POCO left the company a week after the launch of Redmi K20 Pro which made us think that maybe Xiaomi is looking to close POCO forever.

But seems to be confused after tonnes of options being available in the market that too from the same brands!

Well just in case if that wasn’t confusing enough, Realme is back with Another smartphone Realme XT as their latest budget offering.

So is it any good?

In this article, we will be reviewing the all-new recently launched Realme XT to check if it is the best bang for the buck.

Specifications

The all-new Realme XT Comes with a Snapdragon 712 SoC clocked at 2.3Ghz coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal Storage whereas the top-end variant comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage.

There is also another variant which offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage.

Adreno 616 is said to be the GPU here.

The device will be running on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 on top.

All of this is powered by a 4000mAh battery which does support fast charging at 20W.

Fortunately, Realme is also providing the 20W fast charging adapter out of the box.

Snapdragon 712

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 712 is a 64-Bit Octa-Core Processor clocked at 2.3Ghz with Eight Kryo 360 Cores and Built on 10nm FinFet Process technology.

Snapdragon 710 comes with an AIE(Artificial Intelligence Engine) built-in to improve user experience and overall performance of the phone.

Qualcomm Hexagon 685 is used as DSP (Digital Signal Processor).

Overview

On the front, there is a 6.4-inches FHD+ 19.5:9 AMOLED Display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has a notch on top.

Whereas on the back, there is a Vertical Quad Camera Setup and Realme branding.

There is no fingerprint scanner on the back as Realme has opted for an in-display fingerprint scanner this time.

The Device back is completely made up of Glass and does feel sturdy.

Honestly, a lot of people including me have been pinning down Realme for using Plastic Back on their devices.

Great Job Realme!

Camera Department

On the back, there is a Vertical Quad Camera Setup consisting of

  • 64-Megapixel Samsung GW1 ISOCELL Sensor with f/1.8 Aperture
  • 8-Megapixel Wide-Angle Lens with f/2.3 Aperture
  • 2-Megapixel f/2.4 Depth Sensor
  • 2-Megapixel f/2.4 Macro Lens

Realme XT Can shoot up to 4k@30fps and 120fps Slow-motion@1080p.

On the front, we get to see a 16-Megapixel f/2.0 shooter for selfies.

This 64-Megapixel Samsung GW1 is of course new to Indian Market and we cannot comment on anything before testing it thoroughly.

Although, the initial impression seems to be better Realme X and kind of comparative to Sony IMX 586.

There is much more detailing than the regular Sony IMX 586 but lacks dynamic range.

Realme XT Price

Realme XT is launched in India at a starting price tag of ₹15,999 for the base variants and goes all the way up to ₹18,999 for the 8GB Ram and 128GB Internal Storage variant.

The device will be exclusively available online on Flipkart from 16th of September 2019, 12 Noon.

Market Competition

As of now, there is no direct competitor of Realme XT apart from Realme’s own Realme X and Realme 5 Pro.

Although we at Techarbo believe that these phones are meant for a different type of users.

Still, Redmi Note 8 Pro is expected to be launched by 25th October 2019, which seems to make much more sense than any Realme Phone out there in the market as of now.

And Realme is also planning a successor of Realme XT with Snapdragon 730G by the end of December.

Our Opinions

In case if are looking to buy a new phone and cannot wait till October End, the Realme XT can be the best option for you if Camera and Build Quality are your highest priority.

If you need a device of Media Consumption is what you are looking for, simply go with Realme X.

So what do you think about the all-new Realme XT?
